Bonjour street style fans! Style Hunter crossed the channel to get le haute Parisienne take on all things cosy-cool this week. Long-line aviator jackets, mannish tailoring and leather pants are just some of the chic and ingenious ways these filles rock autumn fashion. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Designer Janina Nectara (top picture) gets on the texture-clash bandwagon with her skinny leather kecks and feathered-friend jacket – both from her own label. It looks rather dramatic against her trio of scarlet reds – petite stilettos, patent Louis Vuitton bag and a slick of red lipstick.
Frida’s mannish take on the ‘40s trend looks all the more authentic because of her great vintage finds. So her Prada wide-leg trousers spin back in time with her retro fedora, layered tailoring and pussy bow blouse. The flicked eye-liner adds the final flourish.
Martha Streck’s long-line Burberry aviator is a coat to-die-for, if we ever saw one! A denim shirt, leather shorts and suede lace-up booties complete her touchy-feely ensemble, and, well, who doesn’t think a classic Balenciaga city bag complements a look?
Jenifer Neyt’s been swotting up on the season’s must-haves, hasn’t she? Cape coat? Midi skirt? Tapestry bag? True that they are all granny-chic essentials, but those military Vanessa Bruno boots add a tough dimension – and a great big kick into 2011.
