Blue iridescent dress on Marc Jacobs runway

Marc Jacobs PR office have had to regretfully send out an email to press to cancel his Spring Summer press day (where journalists can go to the designer’s showroom and get a look at the clothes from the runway up close) ‘due to the theft of the spring/summer 2012 collections during its transfer from Paris’ Oh no! Who would have done a thing like this? Some very skinny, tall, fashionable thieves – since the clothes were all the runway samples, which means they are teeny tiny.

We heard a rumour that the lorry containing the samples was hijacked, and, although everyone keeps making remarks about suspicious characters in clear plastic aprons or iridescent dresses (!) in reality the samples have probably been pinched by people wanting to counterfeit the collection. A shady business indeed.

Quick! Get the fashion detectives on the phone to solve the case of the disappearing collection!
