Top finds online this week and why I love them!
Love Label Trench Cropped Jacket: always get your leather jackets from eBay! Full price they are always so expensive so I always try to find them at a discounted price. I love that this one comes in a warm brown shade rather than black - perfect for autumn layering.
Long leather boots: riding boots are an essential in every girl's wardrobe. They're timeless and will never go out of style.
Lyle & Scott gloves: I always manage to lose my gloves so they are the type of item I wouldn't ever buy full price. At the end of each winter I always have about 10 different mismatched pairs! I love that this Lyle & Scott pair are made from 100% wool and come in a bright colour.
Lambswool jumper: in the winter I pretty much live in oversized jumpers and I've found that the best place to find them is in the mens department!
Camera lenses: Always come in handy!
Vintage sunglasses:finding random and strange sunglasses on eBay is one of my favourite pastimes! The more bizarre and offensive the better.
Men's classic Levi 501 jeans: finding classic cut jeans for super cheap is wonderful! I love cutting them into shorts and since I'm awful at DIYs I normally have to buy a couple of pairs before I get it right!
Moleskin Notebooks: I'm obsessed with notebooks. Moleskin is my favourite brand and I always buy them in bulk from eBay.
Jamie Oliver cook books: Jamie is my favourite celebrity chef - I embarrassingly own every single one of his cook books! I always get them off eBay and bulk buy his books for Christmas presents from here too!
I'm currently on the hunt for DIY supplies! I want to get lots of glitter and cover my sunglasses and converse in it! Other recent searches have included lurex glittery jumpers, printed socks, scrunchies and skinny coloured jeans. This time of year I'm also always looking for cheesy holiday jumpers. The more embarrassing the better - they make the perfect early Christmas present for family members and friends!
Top tips on getting and finding the things you want on eBay
To get what you want at a good price watch an item and if you really want it don't bid until the very end. I like to imagine that I'm an eBay ninja... I hide in the background until the last possible moment and then outbid all my rivals in the last 15 seconds. You'll grab your favourite items for the lowest possible price. Just make sure you have a solid internet connection or you'll miss out!
Be creative with your key words but don't be too specific. This way you'll be able to scroll through loads of items. Most of it will be rubbish but that's half the fun! It's like scrolling through an insane market in the comfort of your own home. You've got to put in the time and effort to find the good pieces but when you find a total gem it's completely worth it!
