Karlie Kloss in Chanel

Beautiful Karlie Kloss in the Chanel Spring and Summer 2012 show

Karlie Kloss is the designers’ favourite model to walk in their most bottom or tummy-baring look of any show – in fact, let’s just come out and say it – thanks to her slinky figure she’s doin' pretty well as a runway model. You could say that there's very little that she doesn't look good in AND she even looks good in very little! So it is with big congratulations to her, that we announce the news that she is going over to the Victoria’s Secret side. WELL DONE! We heard that it might be down to the fact that they’ve always wanted her, but had to wait for to her to get old enough! (Wee Karlie is only 19).

Victoria’s Secret is just getting bigger and bigger, they now have a perfume, and will shortly roll out its first UK shop – lucky us! Wowsers! There doesn’t seem to be any way of stopping those Angels.

And yet. And yet in a weird way, the news that Karlie Kloss will now be joining the ranks of the be-feathered ones, has started a bit of a backlash on the ol’ talk boards.

Oh yes. The debate seems to go something like this – while KK’s superfans are thrilled, some other people are warning that if a well-respected high fashion model starts donning those (some might say, slightly tacky) maribou feather accoutrements it could potentially spell disaster for their runway career!

Like THIS lady, who posted on nymag.com saying ‘Karlie is an AMAZING high fashion runway model (she is one of my favorite next to Raquel Zimmerman) ...we'll never forget her AMAZING Lanvin moment last season (girl knows how to walk-especially in a red dress).

it's just that her walking VS is just disappointing because walking VS kinda marks the end of your runway career (aka its the biggest payout a model can get..)’

Oooh miaow! So surely Karlie’s kareer (!) isn’t in danger of winding down at the tender age of 19, due to one teeny underwear job? OR should she be careful what she does if she wants to keep getting those Chanel and Lanvin shows? YOU TELL US!
