Guest Blogger: In Detail's Top Ten Jewellery Looks!

01 November 2011

Grazia Daily loves a good snoop through the jewellery boxes of fashionable types, don't you? This is the very reason why the 'In Detail' blog has become our new addiction. Brought to us by designer Beanie Major and graphic designer-slash-photographer Harry Cresswell, it's a peek at sparkling stones on the streets as well as trinkets from the shows (think Style Hunter for the jewellery world). So having seen so many gem-tastic delights, we asked Beanie and Harry to reveal their top ten jewellery looks…

Double Spike signet ring Mawi

1. Mawi

We can’t decide if we were more excited about the addition of this ‘Double Spike signet ring’(center) to Mawi’s  ‘pretty tough’ collection or meeting Mawi’s creative director Mawi Keivom herself at Frieze Fair, London. So delightfully stylish. www.mawi.co.uk

Chanel pearl earrings

2. Forever classic

These Chanel pearl earrings transcend time and paired with this fur trimmed coat they look totally devine!

brass and leather necklaces from Moxham

3. Tough luxe

Hailed by Adorn London as this autumn’s must-have trend, these brass and leather necklaces from Moxham’s debut collection should be on everyone’s wish list. The perfect edge to soft silks and feminine shades. www.moxhamstore.com

Emma Franklin rings

4. Black and gold

Word on the street is ‘lots of gold’ and we can’t get enough of it either. We love these rings by Emma Franklin (left) and Shaun Leane (right) set against the monochrome black outfit and nails. www.emmafranklin.net, www.shaunleane.com

Feather earrings

5. Eclectic toybox

We were so excited by this array of toy-like trinkets, including the ‘mighty robot locket’ from online boutique Me and Zena. We were even allowed a little play! www.meandzena.com

6. Feather earrings

Spotted everywhere from Fashion week to Frieze, this single parrot feather earring definitely took 1st prize.

Fendi key bracelet

7. Fendi charm

And we were charmed, as much by the Fendi key bracelet as we were by the tattoo/jewellery combo.  A favorite trend with the ‘In Detail’ team as seen on the likes of Jewellery designer Pamela love and model Abbey Lee.

Vivien Westwood motif collar

8. Best of British

Buttoned collars and brooches are a winning combination this season and this iconic Vivien Westwood motif teamed with a pin stripe suit is a match made in heaven.

golden tassel bracelet by Anne Klein

9. Regal ensemble

This gorgeous mix of metallic blue nails, a rich red knit and a golden tassel bracelet by Anne Klein is the just the ticket for an air of Royal elegance.

Mawi for Disney Couture

10. Mawi for Disney Couture

Ok so we’re Mawi-obsessed! We spotted the proud new owner of this limited edition Minne Mouse Ring admiring her purchase as she left Start boutique in Shoreditch. A perfect concoction of playful sophistication. http://www.start-london.com/
