VOTE for 2011’s British Style Icon and you could be at the British Fashion Awards!

Who is the most stylish of them all? This is a question that arises on a weekly basis around these parts, with Graziettes in dispute about whether Florence Welch’s vintage-tastic wardrobe tops Victoria Beckham’s sleek-and-sophisticated numbers. So how brills that we can channel our spat into an actual proper poll with a glittering gong and red carpet shindig!

Yep, the British Fashion Council want YOU to tell them who deserves to be crowned style icon of the year at the British Fashion Awards 2011 – basically, the biggest event in our sartorial calendar. The award honours ‘the individual who most embodies the spirit of London and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital.’ Ooh! Nominees include Stella McCartney and Daphne Guinness and the previous two winners were Kate Moss and Alexa Chung so the benchmark is fantastically sky-high.

The British Style Award Officially Brought To You By Vodafone (try saying that after a glass of champers) is the only accolade voted for by the public so forget that X Factor lot and take a look at the oh-so-chic contenders below. Grazia Daily’s star commenter Little Munchkin has already expressed her preference for Edie Campbell but who’s your fave?

Once you’ve decided (it’s a toughie, innit?), get those fingers at the ready and cast your vote on the British Fashion Council’s website from now until 9 November. PLUS, voters will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to attend the awards ceremony at London's Savoy hotel next month. You don’t get that voting for Frankie Cocozza, now do you?
