This weekend on the X Factor, it was all about ROCK. Despite some confusion ('It's rock week, not rock song week,' according to Tulisa), the judges got tough, showing off their edgy edge with lashings of black.

HOW VERY FIERCE! We were mightily impressed to see Kelly Rowland championing the British highstreet (taking tips from BFF Beyonce perhaps?) and tackling this season's fetish trend by sporting a leather number from our very own Topshop. Hurrah! She did bling up the pleated mini-dress with some designer gems though - see the Alaia belt, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and jewellery by Asprey, Lorraine Schwartz, De Beers AND Alexander McQueen.
Tulisa Contostavlos followed suit with another stunner from Herve Leger – this time of the floor-sweeping, halter-neck variety. Funked up by shimmering metal embellishments and with a Minogue-esque quiff in her hair (a promising improvement), it's a classic rock chick look, no? But it was Tulisa's noticeably, err, deeper tan that had the interweb buzzing. Over on Grazia UK's Facebook page, Laurel Waldron commented, 'You know when you've been Tangoed. Or apparently not in Tulisa's case...' Oh dear.

ANYWAY. The fash-off raged on for Sunday night's extravaganza, but both ladies looked considerably more colourful and brilliantly sparkly. Kelly floated into view wearing a Falguni & Shane Peacock concotion consisting of a sheer skirt flowing from a yellow and grey geometric bodice while Tulisa positively dazzled in a form-fitting frock covered in emerald green sequins by Dolce & Gabbana, topped off with ruby red heels and a statement necklace - y'know, just for another layer of glitz.
So c'mon peeps, cast your vote! Let us know who rocked rock week?
