Pringle’s Perfect 10

21 October 2011

I love to fly, L.O.V.E.I.T. I love flying economy, I love flying Business more (obv), I love that you aren’t expected to talk to anyone, I love that you can watch the trashiest of films and no-one knows/cares, I love the food, even the weird sausages that aren’t really sausages at all, I love turbulence, and I really quite like jet lag as it makes me feel trans-Atlantic (which I’m definitely not). Yup, love it. But no matter how many times I do it or plan for it, I still can’t dress for it. I’ve travelled from London to LA in skin tight jeans - DVT wasn’t a worry, but blood circulation below waist was. From Thailand to the UK in January in no more than a t-shirt dress – body blue as we hit the midway mark. San Francisco to Hawaii in heels (I know) that were too tight when I put them on, and after my feet swelled beautifully on the plane, I touched down in bare throbbing feet.

But thanks to a brilliant collaboration between Pringle of Scotland and 10 magazine Editor in Chief, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, my (not that regular, wish it was) problem is solved. For they have just launched The Perfect 10, a capsule range of gorgeous cashmere pieces that create the perfect travelling wardrobe. We’ve always wanted to be that person who boards a plane looking fabulous, changes in the loo into something comfy and fabulous, and then changes for a last time to meet their chauffeur all fabulous. Now we may not have the driver, but damn we can have the cardigan! Or kimono, leggings, jumpsuit, leggings or scarf. Beats a scratchy airline blanket every time. A Perfect 10 out of 10 all round.

Available exclusively with Harrods Knightsbridge, and at their stores in at Heathrow terminals 3 and 5. Or if you are not in London or heading somewhere lovely on a jet plane, order online at
