Huge congratulations to Carla Bruni-Sarkozy who gave birth to a baby girl yesterday! At a private clinic in Paris, the French First Lady popped out her first daughter and although there’s been no official announcement about the name, Twitter is buzzing with rumours she will be called Dalia Sarkozy. We love it. According to reports, proud Nicolas spent around half-an-hour with his gorgeous wife before heading off to a meeting in Germany. Hmph. We hope you’ll be back soon, Mr Sarkz, to spend a leeetle longer with your new-born please.

As for a first glimpse at the tot, so far there has been nada. In fact, supermodel-turned-singer Carla has insisted there will 'never' be any photographs of her daughter so it’s unlikely we’ll see her carted around Paree Harper Beckham stylee and we're guessing there'll be no Suri Cruise heels for this little lady. But this hasn’t stopped Grazia Daily dreaming up little Dalia's wonderful wardrobe...

Naturallement, first stop will be Baby Dior. The Autumn/Winter collection is packed with girlie pieces perfect for a mini Carla, from a moon-coloured silk tulle dress to a woollen coat in deep plum and sheepskin ballerina pumps. CUTE.NESS! Perhaps Ms Bruni-Sarkozy will turn to fellow famous mums Rachel Zoe and Beyonce for diddy outfits from their maternity lines? And as she gets older, will Dalia follow in Carla's footsteps with elegant frocks in neutral colours teamed with classic flats?

We have every faith Dalia will grow into a style icon oozing Parisian chic just like her maman. Or maybe little D-B-S will become an astute politician type, governing over French land. For now all we can do is speculate – and officially begin Baby Watch. Keep those eyes peeled, folks!
