As the X Factor battle rages on between the contestants, so does the almighty fash-off between the judges. This weekend’s extravaganza saw Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos go head to head once again but who won in the style stakes? It’s time to examine the evidence…

We begin with Kelly who scored another sartorial success thanks to this sleek scarlet dress from Todd Lynn’s autumn / winter 2011 collection. The 30-year-old songbird showed off her killer figure courtesy of a form-fitting bodice that falls into an elegantly draped skirt. She polished off the look with Crisian & McCaffrey heels, Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and matching ruby lipstick. Although this is a more understated look in comparison to last week’s wactacular ‘Irish dancing’ number, we’re saluting K-Ro for mixing things up and giving one of our London Fashion Week designers a well deserved nod. Do you agree?

As for Tulisa, first and foremost, three cheers for listening to your Grazia pals and ditching those unsightly blonde streaks! Yes, the NDubz-er sported an all-black and uber-shiny ballerina bun a-top her head on Saturday night, giving her a satisfyingly less Ginger and more Posh Spice vibe. Hurrah! But what of the dress? Well, it was black, shredded, leathery and mullet-esque - perhaps TuTu’s getting in the Halloween spirit early? So are you impressed by the unusual creation or do you think it missed the glam mark?

Onto Sunday’s results show when it was a battle of cleavage vs. legs. While Kelly flashed her assets in a saucy floor-sweeping black gown from Julien McDonald's spring / summer 2010 collection, Tulisa was her perfect counterpart in a glittering ivory confection that showcased her lithe pins. We’re loving that cutsey full skirt with layers of tulle keeping it a-float – it’s young, fresh and brilliantly unique.

But don’t let our opinions sway you. As ever, we want to hear YOUR thoughts on this week’s X Factor fash-off so pop your vote for Best Dressed Judge in the box below…
