Anna Dello Russo wears Versace for H&M

Anticipation for the Versace for H&M collection builds steadily, we get another tempting visual tease from the Italian luxury house and the Swedish mega brand – the sight of Anna Dello Russo wearing this rock ‘n roll leather number to watch the latest creations on the Balmain catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.

Ho there. Let’s rewind a little – Anna Dello Russo – the lady that made herself famous by wearing head to toe catwalk looks, getting changed several times a day, all the better to delight the paps and fashion bloggers with her ensembles - AND boasts that she prefers never to repeat an outfit. Although we were initially shocked to see her parading in a high street outfit, we have to concede that the fact it’s a high street outfit that

a)       Isn’t out yet

b)       Will probably sell out in mere hours when it does come out and not many of us mere mortals will get one . . .and

c)       Was most likely personally couriered to her personally by Donatella Versace

Versace campaign starring Sasha Piravova

Does redeem it more than slightly. Will we manage to snare one for ourselves on the day? We hope so, except we must admit, we’ve rather set out hearts on this early-Versace looking cropped jacket with the curlicues and the coloured animal prints instead. Ahh. Suspense. What else can we expect from the collection, come mid-November? According to H&M there’ll be;

‘Dresses that express the spirit of the season, featuring studded leather, silk and colorful prints, and accessories including high heels and costume jewelry. The men’s collection will focus on sharp tailoring, including the perfect tuxedo, as well as belts and jewelry for men. For the first time in a designer collaboration at H&M, the collection will include homeware pieces including pillows and bedspread.’

Eeeg! Want want want!
