NYFW Designers play fantasy dress-up with Kate Middleton!

Kate as imagined by Richard Chai and Jason Wu

Ah, Kate Middleton. The ever-appropriate, but not always terribly exciting Duchess of Cambridge is literally THE girl everybody wants to dress this year, and over in New York, a selection of designers and stylists including Jason Wu and Nicola Formichetti has revealed to NY Times fashion blog The Cut, what they’d style Middy in if they could do ANYTHING with her. And we love! Well, we love some of them…

The results include everything from blue lipstick, to a floor length Zandra Rhodes caftan, via a metallic silver mini dress. Click below to see the full line-up. And let us know which your favourite is! Ours? It’s totally the YSL tuxedo…

‘I'd like to give her a little edge. I think she's so pretty, but I think she's dressing in a formal, elegant way, and they [Kate and Pippa] need a little youthquake, so I'd love to see them in Alexander Wang, I'd love to see them in Ohne Titel (pictured). I'd love to see them in Prabal Gurung. And kind of edge 'em up a little. Even just [a] clean and masculine Calvin Klein suit and make them look a little groovier and younger. They're wearing stockings and all of that, but I'd love to see them in, like, polka dots and tons of jewellery and have some fun.’
