Another weekend, another sun dappled celebrity matrimony – and on Saturday, It was the turn of music producer and trumpet afficionado, Mark Ronson, and pants-and-bra-model-turned actress Josephine de la Baume, who tied the knot in the picturesque town of Aix-en-Provence, near the French village where she was born.
Josephine looked glorious with a trendy fishnet veil across her face only with no overhang, and a pearl-encrusted custom-made Zac Posen dress. She is a good friend of the designer, as she told the Telegraph; ‘He offered to do it,’ she explained before the day. ‘He's an amazing friend and I love his dresses, they're so well fitted. I'm really excited and he's so excited about it.’

Not to be outdone, Mark wore a rather striking groom’s outfit – a red and white striped three piece suit, what do you think of that? It is his weddin’ day and all, so we’re deciding to return a verdict of: DAZZLING! Our hearty congratulations to the pair, who are rumoured to have been partying away at the two day reception with guests including Lily Allen and Kate Moss.
A GORGEOUS little story that came out this weekend, was that of the proposal. Mark proposed earlier this year in New York, on a chilly, windswept beach – taking his girlfriend by surprise.
‘It was freezing, our noses were dripping and we had tons of clothes on, I was wearing gloves,’ she said. ‘It was completely unexpected, a beautiful moment.’ Said the blushing bride, who is getting her acting career off to an auspicious start with a part in One Day . . . We hope they’ll be very happy together.
