Pier's pieces
TOPSHOP can always be relied upon to collaborate with the hippest, most desirable designers and bring us a (usually temptingly limited) chance to buy into them. Their latest accessory range, available from their gleaming palace of a flagship store at Oxford Circus, features some of our favourite craftspeople in the field.
Milliner, artist, illustrator, costume designer favourite of Anna Dello Russo and all round jolly good bloke, Piers Atkinson, had THIS to say to the TOPSHOP blog about his fruity headbands; ‘My fashion icons are... Grace Jones, Anna Dello Russo and Paloma Faith. My design inspiration is... Life! Hot on my radar for 2012 is... Love. AND If I could any super power it would be... To create love on a global scale!’ Ah, Piers, you old hippy, you!

Fred Butler in person
Meanwhile, Fred Butler, rainbow enthusiast and costume maker for Gaga, revealed what’s on her mind; ‘Home is… My studio, because I spend the majority of my time there.
My fashion icons are… Those who have been brave to stick to their vision and made work to inspire and enlighten with integrity, passion and humour.
The soundtrack to my life would be… Michael Jackson - Don't Stop Till You Get Enough, Aretha Franklin - Respect and Dee-Lite - Groove Is In The Heart. They’re best songs to dance to, and I LOVE dancing!’ Yep. We definitely know where you are coming from on that one, Fred.

Maria Francesca Pepe's trinkets
Also lending their skills to the latest TOPSHOP range are the very talented jewellers Zoe and Morgan and the brilliant Maria Francesca Pepe, and even some baubles from Henry Holland. We’ll take one of everything please Toppers!
