Last time we heard from Paz de la Huerta, she was lotioning her legs in a New York courtroom after a drunken bar brawl. Yep, the Boardwalk Empire star is madder than a box of frogs, y’all. And today, we find those lotioned-up legs spread-eagled and modeling for Agent Provocateur's latest campaign.
The luxe lingerie label have shot their new heroine clambering out of a car while wearing a silky kimono-esque dress over fuchsia skivvies. Ooh, saucy! And ever considerate, the ad serves as AP's ‘guide to how to strategically flash your lingerie’, a lesson the Lindsay Lohans of the world could learn from. In fact, Agent Paz is no stranger to flashing her goods - remember the hoo-ha she caused back in January after being denied entry to the Golden Globes afterparty then falling over in the street and exposing her own Golden Globe? Oh yes.
‘We always try and choose girls that are true Agent Provocateurs, and she definitely is AP through and through,’ Sarah Shotton, the brand’s creative director says of the actress. ‘She’s got an amazing body and she’s naturally very, very sexy.’ Plus, having mastered undie-flashing, Paz has an uncanny talent for precisely matching her lipstick to her outfit, which ain't no mean feat.
P-Huertz’s foxiness will also be appearing in a series of short films shot by Johan Renck and if Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s saucy tale for the brand - not to mention Kate Moss’ Four Dreams of Miss X shenanigans - are anything to go by, it’s gonna be X-rated hot.
**UPDATE** And here it is! The video campaign has just landed and it delivers another life lesson for our celeb friends. Rather than the usual writhing-about-in-naughty-knickers fare, this promo sees Paz sauntering before the paps before showing us how to 'turn a fall into a rise'.
You see, having dropped her clutch, the bonkers beauty takes the opportunity to whip open her glitzy gown and display her Agent Provocateurs in a totally glamorous, utterly graceful fashion. Well, sort of...
