Well HELLO Jordan! In the most improbable meeting of minds since, ooh, Ryan Reynolds and Marks & Spencer, Elle Macpherson and Katie Price pretended to know each other in last night’s episode of BINTM, when the peroxide haired glamour puss popped into Britain’s Next Top Model as guest judge. Air kisses, darlings! And some REALLY uncomfortable small talk, we bet.
The wannabe models last night were confronted with an underwater photoshoot, which looked HORRENDOUS, and which Jordan apparently also took part in, though the footage of her shoot looked decidedly computer generated. (Surely they wouldn’t, would they?) KP, in her incredible monotone voice (question: how does a woman with so much money always manage to sound so bored?) was hilariously blunt about the girls - ‘vile!/Sack her/jog on’ amongst her other nuggets of wisdom. Also this week, Elle made everyone cry by doing her best ‘I’m just like you’ impression, and they’re BA-ACK! Grace’s power-glasses, that is. How we’ve missed them.
As usual, Grazia Daily grabbed a few moments with the evictees (again – two this week. Eh?) Tanya and Stacey, and asked them how they felt about leaving BINTM towers.
Tanya (above) said that her fave challenge was ‘the catwalk challenge with Janice Dickinson – because I won it! It was amazing to meet her; she acted like my second mum. She gave me a hug to reassure me when I was a bit worried before the catwalk – I mean, Janice actually hugged me!’
For her, the worst challenge was ‘the challenge where we had to style ourselves and our own outfits – the dress I picked, well I thought it had an under-slip and it didn’t, it was just mesh! And I wasn’t wearing a bra and didn’t have god underwear on – it was awful’. True – we did see your nips, lovely Tanya.
Unsurprisingly, she reckons that her arch enemy will be next out, saying ‘Anastasija or Imogen’ will be leaving soon ’because I think they’ve only really got one look’.
Stacey (above), who we also really liked, said that her favourite challenge was ‘probably the underwater one – it was a relief when it was over but I know that was a chance of a lifetime, I probably won’t get to do anything like that again for a while!’
In terms of who should win, she would ‘like it to be Jess, because she got put down at the beginning for her body shape, but she’s gone on to have some of the best pictures.’ Grazia Daily totally agrees – go Jess!
And what of Miss Holmes?
Wasn’t last night’s episode fabulous yet again! Firstly... if Tanya was serious about the competition she would have done the underwater dive - you have to put your fears to one side. However she did shed real tears in the shoot with Nicky unlike Anastasija and Juste! I think Jess and Jade smashed it this week - it was a shame Stacey was so fragile as I think she could have progressed as her confidence grew. I don’t think Katie Price really brought any sort of extra dimension to the judging panel, but it was really interesting to see who the girls thought should leave. In most cases, I agreed with them! Bring on next week…
