After rocking out at Lovebox - plus it is Field Day this very weekend in London - our thoughts turned to the countryside. More specifically, Oxfordshire. Wilderness Festival has got a faraway, magical-world feel about it. With boutique camping, a spa with posh hot tubs and a sauna next to a lake on offer, as well as lots of arty types to raise the general tone, it sounds like the perfect compromise between a roughty toughty festival and a relaxing holiday. Very civilised.
J Brand Colour pop jeans £205 from Donna Ida
Cool summer scarf £95 from Sophia Rogge
The headlining bands will be Anthony and the Johnsons, Mercury Rev and Madonna’s favourite, Gogol Bordello. Plus Guillemots and Daniel Johnson will be appearing and there’ll be dancing and dressing up galore – enforced dressing up. In fact since they’ll be costumes provided on site by Old Vic Tunnels – for those who are serious about getting into character. There’ll be also fashiony vibe with stalls from hand-picked brands such as Beyond the Valley, who also designed the flyer,
Otherwise, it’ll be perfectly acceptable to go in glammed up festie style. Here are our recommendations.
