First Look! Karl Lagerfeld for Macys

So, whilst we Brits have H&M and their manifold collaborations with a whole host of designers, those lucky fashion minxes Stateside not only have the Missoni for Target line, but also the new Karl Lagerfeld collection for Macys. And look! We have the pics to prove it!

Much like Karl’s collab with H&M in 2005, the collection focuses on M Lagerfeld’s own signature style – high necked shirts, his own image on white vest tops and T-shirts, a broadly monochrome palette etc – as well as containing a couple of surprises (the maroon tea dress, par example) and will be very reasonably priced, with the most expensive item being a $169 three quarter tweed coat. Nice.

Though the line isn’t available over here, it’s a dead cert that some pieces will be appearing on a certain internet auction site once the line goes on sale on the 31st of this very month. Paypal accounts at the ready, ladies.
