It’s here! It’s here!
Yesterday morning, Vanity Fair released a sneak preview of their Best Dressed list 2011 and who should be making their debut appearance as a royal? Why little Kate Middleton, of course. Grazia Daily is delighted to report that Kate’s signature immaculate style has earned her a place on the list for the first time since 2008, back when she was a mere whippersnapper of a thing.
This year, Kate is joined by Michelle Obama, who makes an appearance together with her husband Barak for the first time (on the best-dressed couples list) and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy features as well, though her husband Nicolas doesn’t quite make the grade. Other new entries are Charlene Wittstock, the freshly crowned Princess of Monaco, along with Colin Firth and stars of ‘The Social Network’ Justin Timberlake and Armie Hammer. Tilda Swinton and Carey Mulligan are representing the UK in Hollywood, both making the list for the second time, excitingly, though Tilda’s inclusion is her first for three years, and coincides with her becoming the face of Pringle, innnnterestingly.
The full VF best dressed list will be released shortly, at which point we will be able to see whether there are any REALLY big surprises in store (like Helena Bonham Carter’s inclusion last year). But who would vous like to see make the grade? Answers in the boxes below, poppets.
