Oh, so quite sad news this morning, very sad for fans of affordable minimalist design, at least. Jil Sander is ending her time at Uniqlo; thus the collection you see toastily wrapped around Arizona Muse in this picture – will be her last. Yep, after nearly two years of snug coats, perfectly tailored white shirts, the most business-like trousers and basic knits for the Japanese fast fashion chain, she is stepping down.
The next big thing for the Ubiquitous but extremely handy high street chain will be a collaboration with Undercover’s Jun Takahashi. Hmmm . . . interesting. We will keep you posted with any updates and snippets we can lay our hands on, on here . . .
