Grazia Daily is on the A/W '11 campaign trail today, and suitably so considering our summer wardrobes are too floaty and floral for today's dreary weather >mournfully gazes out of the window< So having visited the womanly-women and boy-girls at Dolce & Gabbana, now it's time to turn our attentions to DKNY where the cosy knits are looking veeery alluring.

Like the Dolce boys, US designer Donna took advantage of the Big Apple by shooting her leggy subjects trotting through Madison Square Park in a street-snapper stylee. But there's nothing androgynous about this one. In fact, Anne V, Aline Weber and Izabel Goulart are looking tres lady-like wrapped in baby soft fabrics, but beneath the fuzzy exterior, we know there's a street-smart attitude.

Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have brilliantly created a 'gotta-dash-to-the-runway-show-sweetie-darling' vibe, suggesting that we can expect to see NYFW FROWers kitted out in glossy shearling, bright pink knits and fabulous caped jackets in a golden ocher. Olivia Palermo, take note.
