On The A/W'11 Campaign Trail: Lady-like at Lanvin

18 July 2011

While the stormy clouds outside look ready to burst with rain, inside at Grazia HQ, we're warming ourselves with the latest campaigns for A/W'11 and for the next offering on today's epic journey, we turn to Alber Elbaz’s austere crew. Shot by Steven Meisel, matchy-matchy duo Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann are giving the Three Musketeers a run for their sartorial money by sporting sharp capes, leather gloves and tremendous wide-brimmed headgear while being armed with boxy, metal-trimmed handbags.

Oh, to be a Lanvin lady this autumn. Think metallic jewellery, severe but sensual textures and a LOT of black with a dash of bright red. Bascially, it's all about being super-elegant and less playful than Alber's signature style.

So you see, readers, there’s really no need to fear those big black clouds after all.
