We woke up to a real bona fide fashion mystery this morning. Had Lily Allen’s shop and amazing family fashion baby, Lucy in Disguise, disappeared off the face of Covent Garden (on the way to Grazia Towers, don't you know) without so much as a peep of news? Determined to get to the bottom the mystery, we picked up our trusty magnifying glass, popped on a deer stalker hat and set off to find out.
Luckily, Lily Allen and Sarah Owen's Lucy in Disguise isn't closing. In actual fact, the design sisters are simply moving shop. Phew! They'll be waving goodbye to LiD's King Street store and opening a new flagship on the 1st August in Lexington Street. Oh, and if you can't possibly wait that long, there'll be a pop up shop open from the 4th-31st July, just around the corner in Soho. Still close enough for us to pop to in our lunch hour. But if you aren't lucky enough to be based just around the corner, you can shop any time, day or night, at www.lucyindisguiselondon.com
'Sad to be moving last bits out of Lucy in Disguise King St, but feeling of excitement for next chapter WAY stronger!' Sarah tweeted this morning. Watch this space…
You almost had us for a moment there girls!
