If you went down to Trafalgar Square, you'd be sure for a big surprise. For last night saw a whole lotta Potter swarm the London landmark when the premiere for the film's final installment rolled into town. There were spellbinding gowns galore, hoards of squealing fans, A-list guests a-plenty (including Anna Wintour, no less!) and even a few tears from our Em. Aww. Let's take a look at the events Best Dressers...

Emma Watson emerged looking like a fairytale princess in a breaktaking dove grey Oscar De La Renta ball gown. With a skirt of tulle frothing from the embroidered bodice, the A/W '11 design is perfectly dramatic for going out with a beautiful bang.

As the fans, who'd been camping out for hours, can testify, it was a chilly night in London so Ms Watson later covered up with an elegant white crepe jacket with padded shoulders from Antonio Berardi’s S/S '11 collection. What chicness!

And then came the tears >sob<

Onto the swanky after-dark shenanigans held at Old Billingsgate, which was decked out with witchy cauldrons and broomsticks, the actress donned an enchanting Elie Saab party frock embroidered with twinkling details and clinched with a grosgrain belt. MAGICAL!

Meanwhile, the lovely Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley in the film, chose a vintage Miu Miu creation. The pretty peachy dress is made up of a ruffled long-sleeved blouse and silky, slinky skirt, accessorised with beautiful emerald Wright and Teague earrings. We just wish she'd given it an iron first.

Being the French fancy she is, Clémence Poésy looked delicious thanks to more frothy frou-frou. This time, the layers of chiffon came courtesy of Nina Ricci's S/S '11 collection, clinched by a black waistband to match her wedges. Is it just us or does Clem look even nicer than the runway model in this?

And everyone's favourite English eccentric, Helena Bonkers Carter did not disappoint either. Here she is sporting a sweeping moss green silk gown (Vivienne Westwood, of course) teamed with John Lennon sunnies and a blooming pink fascinator (did one her kids make that for her, we wonder?). What a superb surprise, HBC!

So do tell, who's your fave?
