It may be fashwan hysteria here at Grazia Towers with everyone who's anyone taking part in our Fash Factor extravaganza, but over in gay Paree, there's a lesser known affair called taking place - something called Couture Fashion Week (nah, us neither). Granted, the French capital has seen A-list types including Katie Holmes and Cate Blanchett as well as style mavens Olivia Palermo and Daphne Guinness (you may have heard of them?), so could we pwasssibly spare a moment to cast our style surveillance across the channel? Oh, go on then.

Let's begin at yesterday's Armani Prive show where a splash of Tinseltown glamour arrived on the RED CARPET thanks to Hollywood heavyweights and long-time Armani muses, Mrs Cruise et Madam Blanchett (seriously, is this a premiere or a catwalk show?!). And what wonderful counterparts the ladies make! Because while Katie looked super-sleek in head-to-toe black, with just a splash of snakeskin on her peep-toes sandals, Cate chose a sharp crimson skirt suit with red organza cuffs from the designer's S/S '11 collection to show off her standard sophisticated fare. Tres bon!

Meanwhile, the wonderful Lady Guinness stomped to her VIP seat wearing those infamous metallic heel-less shoes, teamed with a high-neck fitted white frock and gothic fascinator (classic Daphers, eh?). And, as promised, Carine Roitfeld was amongst the crowd too wearing her signature blouse plus pencil skirt combo - the ex-Editrix is shooting a fashion feature for an upcoming issue of W magazine, dontcha know.

Hopping over to Giambatista Valli's FROW, we find this colourful trio made up of bombshell model Elisa Sednaoui, fashion royalty Margherita Missoni and sartorial queen of our hearts, Olivia Palermo. Grazia Daily is proud to see OP backing the Brit highstreet once again with this lemon-coloured frock from Topshop (get yours here), which she's seamlessly funked up by teaming it with a bold tribal necklace, tan braided belt, Charlotte Olympia clutch and stunning gold peep-toes. We woop!

Meanwhile, combating the brights were Caroline Sieber and a quick-changing Daphne Guinness who were both championing monochrome chic with their slinky numbers. Veeery dramatic, ladies.

Ooh look, La Wintour is in da house! *curtseys*

Over at yesterday's Dior show, leggy lady Poppy Delevigne swept into the the Rodin Museum wearing a floaty chiffon maxi dress - how summery! - while Carine reappeared in - yes, you guessed it - a blouse + skirt. Yet, somehow, it never gets old...

And who's this peeping out from under their wide-brimmed hat? It's only our Alexa Chung! The It Brit has just arrived at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, no doubt to take in the week's couture treats, sporting that Charles Anastase for Longchamp bag yet again and a pair of er, dungarees. So you get that pretty FROW outfit ready, missy, and meet us at Chanel!
