'DRESSING UP ROOM' at Kate Moss' Wedding?!

28 June 2011

This weekend sees THE festival of the summer take place. It’s Mossstock! Kate Moss will marry Jamie Hince on Friday in Gloucestershire, with a reception at her ten nearby bedroom pad. So, we know that Galliano is rumoured, still, to be designing Kate's dress and in the past few days, more news has begun to emerge about exactly what the reception is going to look like.

The Australian Telegraph reports that Mosskins has employed the services of ‘two top chefs’ to prepare the food for the day, which will include ‘sausage rolls and breadsticks’. Hmm, we’re guessing those aren’t the only nibbles on offer. Alongside these treats, a source reveals that ‘She is going to be serving Keith Richards' shepherd's pie, Steve Tyler's thai curry and Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie's sausage and mash…. And her cocktails have been inspired by her favourite hotel, the Jamaica Inn in the Caribbean.’ YUM.

In order to guarantee a super-lux festival vibe (is that an oxymoron?) Kate is having a series of marquees erected in her garden (first pics above!), of which ‘One will be based on the Groucho Club, her favourite London members' lounge, with leather sofas, wooden furniture, dark panelling and flowers.’

In another move that we love, Moss is believed to be hanging ‘pictures of herself taken through her career’ (well, why not?) ‘and has commissioned bespoke bunting made up of skulls, flowers, headlines of her escapades, flowers and photos.’

On the entertainment front, Kate and Jamie are believed to have asked Snoop Dogg to perform, which is mental but brilliant, as well as approaching Beth Ditto and The Rolling Stones, and also Dame Shirley Bassey! DSB?! PLEASE let that bit be true.

The most exciting part of the whole thing for Grazia Daily, however, is this little tit bit: apparently, there will ‘be a dressing up room, with a range of vintage Ossie Clarke dresses for her mates to wear’ at the reception. AMAZE. As long as there are, like, some Ossie Clarke capes or oversized mou mous. Or hats. Even we don’t have a fat head.
