Emporio Armani might be one of the biggest fashion companies like, ever, but that doesn’t mean their summer party has to be a huge faceless affair with a stiletto-heeled rugby scrum at the bar. Oh no.
On the contrary – this year, Emporio Armani have utilised the gorgeous hidden garden at their New Bond Street store to host a series of four summer garden parties in association with a series of music labels – Sony, Polydor Music, Atlantic Records and Island Records, all of whom are basically hosting an intimate gig in the Emporio Armani Garden.
Last night was the first in the series, and it was the turn of Sony, who entertained guests including Petra Nemcova, Ana Araujo, Yasmin, and Robert Konjic with their artists Aloe Blacc, Oh Land and Lissie as well as with a DJ set by Chew Lips. The guests were also treated to one, or perhaps TWO drinks by Ciroc vodka, Peroni and Isklar water. Honestly, sometimes, working in fashion is SO tough.
