We’re ALREADY excited about LOVEBOX!

Peaches at last year's LOVEBOX

Last year’s Lovebox festival in London’s Victoria Park was one of the highlights of the summer – fashion-wise, E3 houses about 75% of the capital’s fashion designers, and all their friends tend to have wicked style too, then the line up with the likes of Peaches, Grace Jones and New Young Pony Club kept everyone’s ears more than happy. Oh – and the weather was pretty off the hook too with an unpredictable London heatwave and obviously everyone got well and truly into the holiday spirit.

This year they are welcoming the likes of Scissor Sisters, 2ManyDJs, Blondie, Robyn, Jessie J and Kelis, with only today the notorious star Peaches being added to the bill. London has a lot to offer when it comes to outdoor entertainment in the summer, but this really is a massive date on the calendar Friday July 15 – Sunday 17th and not to be missed, great for residents and also worth making a trip down South if you don’t live in London too!

You can get your tickets here, check out the full lineup here AND for a taster of what Sunday’s gonna sound like try out the playlist here.

It’s a stylish occasion, make no mistake so here are some handy hints on what to wear to compete with the East End hipsters who’ll be out in force:

AMAZING 80's sunglasses/visor £20 and re-made denim cutoffs from bitchingandjunkfood.com!

The ONLY footwear to be seen in mincing around in East London on a sunny summer's day are, of course Espadrilles. You (and your boyfriend and all family members) can get an authetic Spanish pair from tonisgotsole.com for £25 for these brilliant wedges.

OBVIOUSLY! You can't go to a music festival without something suitably festive to stick on your head so . . .  why not try this pheasant feather headdress (try saying that after an hour or two in the beer tent) from lovely vintage purveyors, £60 from Rokit.
