VIDEO: Tom Ford's A/W '11 Lookbook Has Landed!

15 June 2011

Hands up who remembers when Tom Ford tantalised us last London Fashion Week by bringing his latest collection to our fair capital but only allowed select editors to actually see it? The superstar designer refused to succumb to the standard showbizzy catwalk fare and instead held intimate press appointments at his swanky showroom in the capital, banning cameras and detailed reports. What a tease he is!

Almost four months later and at last, Mr Ford is happy to share the glorious delights with the masses. Yes, we're delighted to announce that the look book for Mr Ford's A/W '11 Womenswear collection has finally landed and it's just as dramatic as you'd expect, this time in an old classic glamour stylee. Blink and you might miss the clothes but from what we can see, there's crimson fur, black lace and zebra print a-plenty modelled by the likes of Abbey Lee Kershaw, Karlie Kloss and Anja Rubik, but it's the red velvet party frocks and stunning flashes of violet and yellow which have us gawping. Oh, and we will find a way to wear that divine emerald green gown sported by Jourdan Dunn, complete with a fluid train, sheer sleeves and button fastenings.

Okay, we promise to be quiet now because it's time to take a deep breath and witness the wonders for yourselves…
