Kate Moss' EPIC Hen Night!

Three weeks before she ties the knot with Jamie Hince, Kate Moss has been at the Isle of Wight festival with around 30 mates for what sounds like the mother of all hen nights.

Arriving on Friday in two giant pink hummers for her ‘Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’ themed party – a theme which festival organizer John Giddings let slip on Absolute Radio on Friday, saying ‘It's a secret, right? The big fat gypsy wedding. Apparently, that's the theme...she's going to be dressed up like that’.

The girls reportedly arrived in matching tracksuits, and were also furnished with T-shirts bearing the slogan ‘Kate’s Hen-Do’. There’s ADDITIONAL speculation that the crew were planning to don costumes by Thelma Madine (the brills Liverpool designer from BFGW), and let us tell you that if pictures of this exist, we totally be bringing them to you.

Mossy, of course, is not known for her love of a quiet night in and a cup of tea, and she arrived at the festival with around 30 equally party-shy mates including former best mate Jade Jagger. Samantha Morton, Sadie Frost, Meg Matthews, Trish Simonon, Alison Mosshart, Annabelle Nielson, Serena Rees, Katy England and Daphne Guinness. The group were allotted a special VIP area backstage, where they imbibed a goodly quantity of Mahiki rum (apparently an eye-watering120 bottles by Saturday morning, with another 180 being choppered in), as well as Crystal champagne and several other beverages that weren’t tea.

The group were ferried around the festival in golf buggies with KM1 and KM2 number plates (genius) to watch acts like the Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs and Pulp, and ended the shenanigans on Sunday with lunch in the Priory. NO, not THAT one silly, the Priory Hotel on the Isle of Wight, which offers yummy things like roast native scallops, roasted poussin and galatine of game birds in its Regency dining room with ‘fine murals depicting picturesque views of the Isle of Wight’. We bet it had never seen anything like it.
