It’s a tough job being a fashion journalist, what with the endless round of parties and openings and things, and this morning’s arduous mission was a yummy breakfast at Selfridges shoe lounge to celebrate the launch of the new Tommy Hilfiger Tommy loafers for G H Bass. We know, we know – but SOMEONE’S gotta do it. The loafers are a twisted version of the iconic Weejun moccasins, available in a variety of classic colours – navy, burgundy, tan and ochre – with contrast stitching (that’s the twist), available in a heels or flats with a selection available for gentlemenfolk as well. Sounds good, non?
As well as Grazia Daily, the lovely Portia Freeman and Ben Grimes – both looking impossibly gorgeous after such an early start – were in attendance, and of course GD grabbed both the ladies to check out how they’d styled their loafers. Watch and learn peeps!
