Erin Wasson’s FASHSPIRATION? Rod Stewart!

Luscious long limbed California girl Erin Wasson is getting involved with French hipster brand Zadig and Voltaire. Whooo! She’s already known as the model most likely to become a great designer, after her jewellery collections called Low Luv, her women’s wear designer for Rvca, and the influence we suspect she has on Alexander Wang as his muse.

The Zadig collection will be launched in September, first exclusively on net-a-porter before going into Zadig’s own stores. The founder of the brand, Thierry Gillier said. ‘Erin’s capsule is really different from what we are doing today. It allows us to offer an even more distinctive product,’ going on ‘We are rock ’n’ roll, but Erin is even more rock ’n’ roll.’ Indeed she is. The model herself described her inspiration, in a brilliantly post-modern combination of not specific, and every specific indeed by saying ‘life, classic cars and Rod Stewart.’

Yikes! What we want to know is this – was she listening to Maggie May and Do Ya Think I’m Sexy? on repeat or was she gazing at pictures of him in his tartan suit and mullet in the Seventies? See our inspirational Rod Stewart Hall of Fame gallery below!
