So, we know that it is QUITE the thing for a superbrand to release a retrospective book of their archive, yes? The epic Dolce & Gabbana 20 Years book, par example. Well, this week one of Grazia Daily’s fave British brands has gotten in on the act, too. It’s Mulberry!
The Somerset-based label, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary, has just released a gorgeous tome of a coffee table book, with 480 pages of fabulous behind the scenes pictures that offer us a candid glimpse into what makes Mulberry work. Where this book differs from other fashion books, however, is that it’s not a dry retrospective or history of the brand, rather it’s a vibrant photo documentary. We likely.
Shot by regular Mulberry contributor Venetia Dearden over the past three years, the book includes behind the scenes images of Mulberry’s latest shoots, shows and legendary (trust us) parties in London, New York and their base in Somerset (which is, FYI, in the same village where a certain member of Grazia Daily went to School. NOT that that makes us biased.)
‘Mulberry’ the book is available now from Mulberry.com and Mulberry stores, and will be distributed in shops from 1st July. Put it on your Christmas list now, please.
