It seems that Gwyneth Paltow found a spare few minutes in her lightly-packed schedule, and by ‘lightly’ we mean (not necessarily in this order): stealing the show in Glee, launching and promoting a cookbook, singing anything from country to Adele, keeping that body fit, being a mother to Apple and Moses, hanging out with mega-star buddies like Jay Z and Beyonce…oh, and there’s the acting career and husband Chris Martin too.
So, in her latest incarnation, Gwyneth will be (as rumoured) US mega-brand Coach’s brand ambassador for its international campaign marking its 70th anniversary. But no time to waste, lazies – Gwyneth has already shot the ad campaign with photographer Peter Lindbergh on a Manhattan rooftop so look out for the images in the September magazines although we’re sure we’ll seem them online first. ‘I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,’ the actress told WWD. ‘I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.’ As for Coach’s creative director Reed Krakoff, Ms Paltrow is ‘a natural choice. She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.’
We can’t even guess what’s next for Gwyneth so we’ll just go and lie-down for a little while and no doubt there’ll be a new Super-Paltrow project announced by the time we’re back.
