Last Night’s Best Dressed: Festival Fun with Havaianas PLUS Lara Stone at CK!

15 April 2011

Daisy Lowe with Eno Polo, the president of Havaianas

What a lot of party hopping Grazia Daily did last night! First stop was the launch of Havaianas’ new Wellies range at Selfridges' swanky Ultra Lounge, which was transformed into an indoor festival - oh yes! While the multi-talented Daisy Lowe spun some tunes from the DJ booth, we sipped on caipirinha cocktails and delish fajitas in honour of the Brazilian brand. And, of course, we played our favourite past time: style spotting...

Top marks go to D-Lo who was looking fab in a figure-hugging nude skirt, which flared out into a sheer maxi, teamed with a black lace tee under a sharp-shouldered jacket, while Jameela Jamil perfectly complemented the colourful wellies with her vibrant red halter neck to match her bold lippie and nails – love those ethnic print Julian Louie for ALDO heels, missy! As for Tolula Adeyemi, she got us into the Glasto-esque spirit with her amazing leopard leggings and tassel bag. Bring on festie season!

With barely enough time to come up for air, next on the agenda was the MTV Push and Calvin Klein party. In the uber-cool surroundings of Shoreditch’s Village Underground, Team Daily cooed over ck one’s brand new lifestyle line of apparel jeans, swimwear and underwear, inspired by the iconic fragrance. Very nice indeed. Then, to the banging beats of Katy B, we joined a queue of party-goers to be filmed striking a pose inside the “ck one box” - a replica of that super-hip ad, remember?

And who should we bump into among the style slickers? None other than expert poser herself, Lara Stone *swoon* As the face of the fashion house, our favourite gap-toothed beauty was undeniably the hostess with the mostess, working Mr Klein’s signature minimalism courtesy of a sleek LBD worn with nothing but black heels and that twinkling wedding ring. Joining La Stone for the festivities were too-cool-for-school BFFs, and current ck one models, Alice Dellal and Pixie Geldof, who took DJ duty and both sported their usual grunge wardrobe of leather and fishnets with gold accents and dramatically pulled-back locks.

Blimey, what a lot of fashion fun for a Thursday night!
