Burberry's new 10,000 sq feet high tech London shop!

15 April 2011

Good news for Burberry fans. Covent Garden (just one hundred yards from the Grazia offices, can you believe it?) sees the opening TODAY of its very first Burberry Brit store. It’ll officially be the biggest Burberry Brit store globally and will reflect a new design concept developed by Christopher Bailey himself.

Just as we’d expect from the global mega brand, it’s got more high tech stuff going on in there than our teeny brains can handle. In case you’re the sort of person who understands these things, we’ll describe it for you. It ‘will incorporate digital innovations such as video wall within the store showcasing Burberry content fed directly from its global headquarters in London. A wireless network will allow iPads to connect to global platforms and an advanced sound system runs throughout. There will also be iPod docks allowing customers to play their own content’

All sounds jolly good indeed. If you live in London, or you’re visiting the capital on your Easter break, then why not pay it a visit? The address is 41-42 King Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2E 8JS, and the number for enquiries is 0203 425 7020.

See you down there Burberry (and indeed Mac) fans!
