OMG! Courtney Love Is Selling Her Wardrobe!

For those of you itching to nab Courtney Love’s style, as we mentioned on Friday, now you can! Because after conquering the world of fashion blogging and rock’n’rolling, our Courts is turning her hand to online auctioneering. Oh yes, Courtney Love Couture is now open for business!

The clever team behind the singer’s blog What Courtney Wore Today has launched the official eBay store, crammed with clothes and footwear from the Love-ly lady’s very own wacktacular wardrobe. So not only does the e-store promise to become a vintage shopper’s paradise but it’ll also pocket Courtney more than a few pennies – rather handily after the various pickles she’s found herself in recently. Granted, the garments may need a good scrub but considering she’s become a bonafide - if slightly bonkers - style icon, with Riccardo Tisci and Meadham Kirchoff hailing her as their muse, we’re in for some real treats. Right? Let’s investigate with a rummage through her designer duds...

First up, we're rather fond of this velvet and satin LBD adorned with an ornate crystal applique from Gucci's A/W 2007 collection, which was so elegantly modelled by Courtney herself at the Source Code premiere in New York last month. And the ever-generous rocker is beginning bids at $2999 - $1 less than the original $3000 price tag. Grazia Daily better get tightening those purse strings...

But never fear, thrift seekers, because this Marc Jacobs slip is currently going for a bargaintastic $305. It's proving to be the most popular item thus far, possibly thanks to that unique shade of glunge - the nifty work of Court’s DIY hand-dying. But despite what you might think, it’s not all rock chick chic up for grabs, oh no. In fact, we’ve got our eye on this delicate gold appliqué dress also by her designer pal MJ, with bids beginning at a whooping $2999 >gulp<

Skipping past the dainty Chanel heels and fierce Givenchy ankle boots on offer, we find this sultry number from Claire La Faye’s A/W ‘06 collection, which La Love wore to the premiere of Marie Antoinette back in the heady days of September 2006. Although we’re convinced we saw it in Primark last week, no?

Ooh, is this Frances Bean’s discarded prom dress? We can’t picture our Courtney wearing the turquoise number but if it’s up your alley, get $299 at the ready. Or why not own some punk history with this thigh-skimming burgundy frock accented by lace neck detailing? Both Courtney and her fellow musician Kat Bjelland wore it in the late 80’s, so here’s hoping it comes complete with retro stains...

And finally, straight off Love’s back and onto eBay is a silk chiffon floor-sweeper with a bandage waist. Yup, it was literally just days ago that Courtney was wearing this stunner, designed by Grai, at the Tribeca Ball in NYC and as she says herself, ‘It's modern yet evokes Monroe and Grecian gowns!’ Well, we couldn’t have put it better ourselves.

So what do you make of C-Lo’s online offerings? A treasure trove of couture chic or a black Hole of car-crash tosh? We want to hear your verdict, please...
