Fans of crazy prints and ladylike silhouettes will be pleased to hear today that Miu Miu is embracing technology and is due to launch its e-commerce site on April 6th. The online boutique will amount to the largest array of Miu Miu goods in the world. Blimey. The site also includes a “fashion show selection” offering exclusive key looks straight from the Miu Miu runway and a top zoom function that helps simulate a live shopping experience.
We wonder if the Prada family are splashing out on some fab new gadgets and gizmos because they are feeling flush after announcing that 2011 was a year of record profit for the company this week. As chief executive officer Patrizio Bertelli put it, last year’s sales and profits ‘were never obtained before in the history of Prada.'
