WATCH what happened when we met Thandie Newton at Bicester Village!

31 March 2011

If you go down to Bicester Village today you’re sure of snagging a bargain or two! However, if you’re a fan of British designers like Holly Fulton, Marios Schwab, Osman, Felder Felder or Grazia favourite Jonathan Saunders, then you’d better make your travel plans sharpish because the pop up store for the British Designers’ collective is open NOW and will only last for the next six weeks!

We had lots and lots of fun at the press breakfast yesterday where we had the chance to mingle with the brilliant womenswear designer Holly Fulton, who confessed to being a fan of the outlet village anyway, making the work  trip there an easy task.

As well as Holly, we had the chance to chat to Brit actress and now fashbassador, Thandie Newton, who opened the store with a speech where she described Bicester Village as ‘a Disneyland for grown up Cinderellas’ – which indeed it is.

How lovely to be involved in a project like this – where the designers get the chance to sell off their excess stock and make some much needed cash without having to compromise their designs AND raise their profile amongst consumers, and most importantly, we can get a designer outfit for a knock-down price! Brill skillz!
