The wife of the French president, supermodel turned singer Carla Sarkozy, makes her acting debut in Woody Allen's new movie, Midnight in Paris. And anyone wanting to check out her thespian chops can now watch the just-released new trailer for the director's 45th film.
Okay, so she says only four words in the video, but, as supermodel cameos go, it's not the worst acting we've seen... *coughs NaomiCampbellMiamiRhapsody coughs*
The character played by "Carla Bruni" appears alongside the film's main stars; Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams, and an A-list cast including Marion Cotillard, Adrien Brody, Michael Sheen and Kathy Bates. Allen's lastest films have received mixed reviews from critics in recent years, but we have to say, this romantic comedy looks like a winner. Well played, La Bruni.
