Chloe, the lovely grown-up girly label designed by Hannah McGibbon is going to grow its second line – See by Chloe by recruiting Laure de Sade, a protege of Isabel Marant and alumnus of Central Saint Martins, to be the head of design. Congratulations Laure! We’re big fans of See by Chloe – (check out My-Wardrobe.com for their lovely bits)
Isabel Marant's A/W '11 collection
Isabel Marant and her diffusion line, Etoile by Isabel Marant have more than a snippet in common with Chloe – expensive posh pieces basically modelled on what hipsters and trendy teenagers love to wear (and can get away with). Restrained, but not too “classic”. No wonder they are so popular with the skinny minnies of the front row.
Also – the fact that is it See by Chloe makes us doubley excited – as it’s the more affordable line, and if the collection expands that’ll mean much more for us mere mortals to choose from when spending our hard earned pocket money! Whoot!
