Total pandemonium in the Grazia Daily offices as Lady Gaga tweets this little nugget of info "I'm making my debut as a runway model, walking in the MUGLER PARIS FASHIONSHOW 3/2. I directed the show music, previewing Government Hooker".
Anyone who has watched her new video for Born This Way will know that the ever-touring global superstar undeniably now was the uberfit bod of a supermodel, so getting up on the runway for her BFF/collaborator/stylist Nicola Formichetti, (the newly appointed Creative Director at Mugler) is a role she is more than ready for.
One caveat: Gagaloo, whilst having the kind of giant ego/stage presence that has held the world's attention for the past couple of years, is, in earth terms, and without her usual circus-style footwear, a pixie-sized 5' 1", so we're thinking she's rather unlikely to be up for parading down the runway alongside a cast of giraffe-sized supermodels.
And the fact that she's "previewing Government Hooker", her new track, makes us think this is likely to be more of a performance than a straightforward catwalk, but who knows? We can only wait, in desperate anticipation, until tonight...
