Oh. Yes. London Fashion Week has arrived, people! Try to stop hyperventilating long enough to absorb these facts...
Grazia Daily is going to be hanging out at the shows for the next five days, with camera crews front row AND backstage, and a dedicated party blogger (tough gig). We'll be tweeting, live blogging and reporting from before, during and after pick of the best of the shows. And we'll also be doing our usual exclusive-to-Grazia-Daily 'Flip-ing the Finale' videos, so you can watch top designers' entire catwalk shows in ooh, about two minutes. 65 catwalk shows and 45 salon shows and presentations will take place over the next 6 days (the last day is devoted to menswear shows - now in its fifth season). There are 5 NEWGEN, (sponsored by Topshop), designers: David Koma, Holly Fulton, Louise Gray, Mary Katrantzou and Michael van der Ham. It is estimated that orders of over 100 MILLION POUNDS (wowsers!) are placed during LFW each season; the International Guest Programme alone generates over £40m of orders.
And, naturellement, the Grazia staffers are showing their excitement for the first day of LFW the only way they know how - by pulling some seriously FROW-worthy looks. So how are we doing? Let us know, below...
