Valentine's Day Gift Guide!

Ok. So it’s, like three days until V day and we guessing that you, like Grazia Daily, remain completely un-gifted. We all know that Valentine’s can be a VERY high risk event, with all taste flying out of the window only to be replaced by a total inability to differentiate naff from fabulous, and therefore Grazia Daily has helpfully compiled a list of some of the best gifts available for Valentines 2011.

Love: Mulberry’s digital blooms. Digital artist Daniel Brown has collaborated with Mulberry for Valentine’s 2011, creating a series of unique blooms for you to email to anyone you think deserves it. Users log on to Mulberry here, select a print from the SS/11 collection and nominate the desired recipient. The recipient will then receive a digital seed on the 14th which will grow into a beautiful and unique bloom, like the one below.

Love: The Real Flower Company. Nothing irritates Grazia Daily more than rubbish flowers. Why? Because flowers are inherently beautiful, so in order to make them look cheap you have to be doing something REALLY wrong. The Real Flower Company is a luxury florist with a concession in Selfridges as well as their own shop in Marlborough and an online store. For Valentine’s day they’ve created this gorgeous rose bouquet scented with garden mint and tied with a floppy satin ribbon. Completely and utterly love. Valentine's posy (L) £50 and large bouquet (R) £80. Order online at Real Flowers, or call 01730 818300.

Love: Daisy Knights Sparky collection. We already love Daisy Knights here at Grazia HQ, so the fact that she’s offering 20% off everything in the run-up to Valentine’s day is only an added bonus. Today, we are mostly lusting after this 22 carat 'Sparky' gold bracelet with a heart charm. Preeeetty. Bracelet, £139.

Love: Ormonde Jayne Bikers. Our favourite London parfumier, Ormonde Jayne, is offering 'Last Minute Love' a genius service for guys and gals caught by a last minute desire to make someone feel special on Valentine’s Day itself. A special motorbike service will be buzzing around London, in order to deliver Ormonde Jayne perfumes (personal favourite – Orris Noir) as well as Charbonnel et Walker chocolates and flowers along with a handwritten message of lurve.

Love for him: Murdock London. For ladies looking to purchase for their menfolk, Murdock London (the traditional gentlemen’s barber and store) has an amazing range of vintage inspired products that are both brilliantly useful as well as aesthetically pleasing. Grazia Daily loves their range of deliciously scented colognes, of which ‘Avalon’ (Bergamot and Calabrian Lemon, over a base of musk, FYI) is a personal favourite.

And finally: Kinda Love. Morrisons is offering a special 2 for 1 deal on oversized Valentine’s cards. Yes, that’s right – TWO for ONE. Whilst the intentions of Mr. Morrison and his merry army are, we’re sure, entirely proper (mums and dads, friends etc), Grazia Daily can’t help but wish there was a special commercial to advertise this deal, perhaps with any number of philandering England footballers pushing their trolley down the aisle only to spot this bargain-tastic offer.
