Obviously ANY collection of womenswear is going to look attractive with the glorious Stella Tennant inside it – but still, we’ve become pretty hot under the collar looking at this Zara lookbook. The aristocratic model was queen of the nineties, modelling for the likes of Versace and Chanel and jetting all over the world until 1998, when she announced her retirement. Since then she has come out of hiding intermittently, most recently to show off H&M’s wares with two of her daughters in the childrenswear.
It’s a mannish, pared down collection that Stella’s gamine looks set off well, with a colour scheme of girly brights saving it from plainness. From the tight fitted chinos (orange in the pics but available in many, many other colours) to the amazing pink and black teddy boy style suit to the frill-free slash neck and crew neck tops and that cute leather mini skirt – we want pretty much all of it. Mmmmmmmm. The sun is a tiny bit more visible if not exactly shining, and we’re more than ready for spring!
