We’re used to Scott Schuman being behind the camera but the man most commonly known as The Sartorialist, and whose street style blog launched a thousand others, is the subject of a 7-minute documentary by Intel that has managed to completely brighten up our day! Watch the video below for a rare look at what an ordinary New York day’s work for The Sart entails; a trim at a super-cool barber’s, whose own super-duper moustache cheekily steals the limelight, a moment’s rest at a coffee shop and a lot of walking around looking for something and someone to catch his eclectic eye, trusted camera always in one hand. 'You never know what it is, what that thing is that draws you to that person but you just let it happen”, he explains. “It seems odd but its almost like going out there and letting yourself fall in love a little bit every day.'
On this particular chilly day, that someone includes a cute girl in a furry trapper hat, about to cross the street, who doesn’t initially recognise Schuman but having realised who the man taking her picture is confesses to loving his blog, a builder in a bright orange jacket and matching boots, who is more than happy to follow instructions and pose, and a guy sporting a perfect pea coat that we wouldn’t mind ‘borrowing’!
Scott, we salute you but next time, can we have more tidbits on your lovely gal, Garance?
