Yes, yes and thrice yes. Well, after yesterday’s mammoth Spring Campaign round-up, we’ve got even MORE just-released campaign images with which we will further whet your appetite for a time when ‘duvet’ is not a serious clothing option.
After two seasons of using Lindsey Wixson to front her campaign for Miu Miu (this season’s face of Mulberry) Miuccia Prada opted for Polish super Kasia Struss for S/S’11. Sitting for Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in a mirrored room, Struss teaches us all about how to pair bold prints with bright colours and those all-important cherry red lips, in a collection which the designer declared was all about the current obsession with fame.
Karolina Kurkova comes over all Hitchcock for Bottega Veneta this season, in a campaign shot by photographer Alex Prager, a photographic artist who follows in the footsteps of Nan Goldin and Larry Sultan kin shooting an unconventional series of ads for the label. Prager shot Kurkova against a backdrop of clear blue sky with a single crow (well, a big black bird) crossing it, teaching us how to do dark and moody for S/S’11. The trick? Just act ladylike.
Campaign veteran Constance Jablonski, rocked some colour for Bally in images taken by Daniel Jackson, where she shows us how to work the season’s brightest shades whilst reclining on a lawn looking faa-bulous.
And last but not least, a bevy of androgynous, peroxide haired pretties comprising Victor Nylander, Malthe Lund Madsen and Jana Knauerova have been shot by the legend that is Mario Testino for Versace for S/S’11. This season, darlings, Donatella is teaching us all about how to do strong minimalism with her simple palette and 90s shapes. Si? Of course you do.
