Classic doe-eyed beauty she may naturally be, but it’s not always been hit after hit when it comes to Anne Hathaway’s wardrobe choices. There have been some dodgy decisions in the past, but overall, 2010 has been a turnaround year for the actress fashion-wise.
Let’s face it, sometimes you have to learn your own style – not everyone is just born with the in-built ability of knowing exactly what does and doesn’t suit them. Don’t you agree? The past month in particular has been pretty spectac for the lass, with such lust-worthy items as one of Christopher Kane’s intergalactic print dresses (how popular are they!?), designer of the moment Valentino’s ultra-feminine tiered and feathered couture angel-like frock, Antonio Berardi’s sexy, body skimming lingerie-style sheath dress and a gold Oscar de la Renta number that looked simply knock-out. Unfussy, understated accessories like plain pumps or heirloom-inspired earrings complete Anne’s look.
Maybe she’s been taking tips at the Diane Kruger and Kate Bosworth school of styling? Less is more, ladies, less is most certainly more. May we add that we like Anne’s new, slightly lighter and straighter ‘do she’s been trying out too.
PS Dear Santa, we’d also like a Jake Gyllenhaal of our own to accessorise our every party outfit with. Thank you x
