Victoria Beckham has landed for The British Fashion Awards!

07 December 2010

Yes folks, Victoria Beckham is in the country!

As we speak, the glitterati are preparing for tonight’s British Fashion Awards, the biggest event on the fashion calendar, and our very own VB has arrived in town to prepare the perfect award-accepting outfit. And if her latest airport attire is anything to go by, naturally, we can expect nothing but sheer glamour, see:

Here's Victoria jetting out of LA yesterday, turning the runway into a catwalk as she does thanks to a gorgeous Giambattista Valli number, teamed with YSL heels, black tights and ginormous sunnies. Although we’re used to seeing her trenched-up Inspector Gadget stylee, this Caped Crusader look is the perfect way to let us Brits know she means business. Because as a nominee for the much-coveted Designer Brand award, our Vic can feel the hungry eyes of the fashion world on her today, so what better weapon to arm herself with than her 'favourite winter coat'?

As for tonight’s festivities, we’re placing our bets on Mrs Beckham cracking out one of her own designs, just as she did at last year’s ceremony. How glorious would she look in one of these sleek floor-sweepers from her S/S ‘11 collection, par exemple? Of course, we’ll keep you updated as soon as we get a glimpse of her chosen ensemble, as well as the rest of the stunners which will be arriving on the red carpet. YES! Grazia Daily will be reporting LIVE from the BFAs later today - right here on this very site AND on our Twitter feed (@Grazia_Live), so stay tuned!

The glitzy award show takes place at the Savoy Hotel where the most influential people in the biz will be celebrated, from Phoebe Philo and Mary Katrantzou to Lara Stone and Nicola Formichetti. Victoria is up against Burberry, Mulberry and Pringle of Scotland to be named as the leading British brand that has excelled and made an impact on the international stage over the past year. So best of luck, VB. We can't wait to see you there!
