Three hundred people lined Regent Street from 8.45pm LAST night to be the first to get their hands on the much-anticipated Lanvin ♥ H&M collection. Grazia Daily was there to witness the calm before the storm:
Phillipa Ledley was first in the queue – a mother who’d camped out since last night to pick up the one-shouldered ruffle dresses in mustard and pink for her daughters. (Lucky them!).
Most in the queue had never camped out for a designer-high street collaboration before, but the allure of Lanvin pulled them in. 'I love Lanvin. It’s such a big, iconic brand and for the first time it’s affordable,’ explained student Charlotte Yu. She was, like most in the queue, eyeing up the pink floral ruffled dress. Have a nosey through her bags below...
Shoppers outside cooed over their purchases. The first shopper out spent £630 on six pieces from the collection – but didn’t mind. 'It’s a bargain when you think how much just one Lanvin dress would be.’ But props to the most dedicated fan was fashion blogger Carol Aquino who had travelled from Barcelona to be in London for the launch. 'It’s Lanvin. What more do you need to say?’ We’ll agree with that.
PS. don't forget to send us a picture of yourself wearing the collection to firstname.lastname@example.org or post a video response of you wearing it on www.youtube.co.uk/grazia and we'll include the best outfits in next week's Grazia TV.
